Directions to the cottage from Abergavenny

Take the A40 in a north-westerly direction towards Brecon. 2 miles after going through the village of Bwlch turn left into Talybont-on-Usk. At the T-junction turn right for Pencelli. After 2 miles, and 120m past the “Pencelli” village sign, turn left (signed for “Plas Pencelli”). After another 120m, and as the road narrows, turn left into a private tarmac drive. This drive has the name “Dantwyn” at its entrance, and is directly opposite the second of 2 houses on the right. Continue up the drive for 220m and until the tarmac ends. Pentwyn Cottage will be adjacent, on the left.

Directions to the cottage from Brecon

Take the A40 in a south-easterly direction for Abergavenny. 2 miles from Brecon town centre (half mile beyond the bypass roundabout) exit from the dual-carriageway by the slip road on the left for Pencelli, B4558. After another 2 miles, drive through Pencelli village, passing the “Royal Oak” on your right. 150m beyond the pub turn sharp right (signed for “Plas Pencelli”) and proceed as above.
